Our Approach to Aesthetics

A clinic can work in one of two ways: it can sell every procedure to every patient, or it can tell each patient honestly which intervention is genuinely appropriate for them. Nis Clinic takes the second approach.

During a consultation we listen first — why are you here, what would you like to change, what are your expectations? Sometimes the answer is not surgery but a more measured medical-aesthetic approach. Sometimes it is the opposite: what you have been trying to cover with injections is actually a structural issue and the right solution is surgical. A decision made without accurate information is not an informed aesthetic decision.

Every case concludes with three clear answers: what can be done, what should be done and what should not be done. There are situations where we advise against intervention — when a patient is not a suitable candidate, when expectations are unrealistic, or when a procedure carries unacceptable medical risk. Declining to proceed is, in those circumstances, the correct clinical decision. This transparency occasionally directs a patient elsewhere; in the long run, trust is built precisely this way.

How does a consultation with Nis Clinic begin?
You can choose one of two routes: an in-person consultation at one of our clinic branches (Nicosia, Kyrenia or Famagusta) or an online video consultation. Online consultations for medical tourism patients are free of charge and last 15–20 minutes. Dr. Meyzin or a member of the team will discuss the most appropriate treatment plan with you; it is a clinical conversation, not a sales call.
How does the medical tourism process work?
The process has three stages. Stage one is remote: a preliminary assessment using photographs or a video consultation, an indicative price, and an estimate of how many days you will need in Northern Cyprus. Stage two is arrival: airport transfer, hotel check-in and a definitive in-person consultation. Stage three is surgery and follow-up: the day of the procedure, post-operative check appointments and support throughout recovery. All coordination is managed by a single team; you will not need to contact separate departments individually.
How are prices determined?
Every case is individual. Three core factors determine the price: the type and scope of the procedure (for example, a single Botox session versus a combined surgical package), the materials and products used (implant brand, Botox brand, device type) and the duration of the procedure. A firm price can only be given after consultation. "Fixed price" advertisements you may see online are misleading because patient-specific variables are not accounted for. A written, itemised price proposal is provided at the consultation.
Do you offer online consultations?
Yes. Online video consultations are free of charge for patients contacting us from abroad or from outside Northern Cyprus. Sending two or three photographs of the area you are concerned about before the call improves the accuracy of the assessment. After the consultation you will receive a written summary, an indicative price range and a recommended course of action.
How many days do I need to stay in Northern Cyprus?
This depends on the procedure. For medical aesthetic treatments (Botox, dermal fillers, mesotherapy, PRP), 1–2 days is usually sufficient. Laser sessions are generally carried out on the same day. For hair transplantation, 3–4 days is recommended; a wash and check appointment takes place on the second day. For plastic surgery procedures (breast, rhinoplasty, abdominoplasty, liposuction), 7–10 days is advisable to allow for recovery and post-operative check-ups. For Mia FemTech and more complex cases this period may be longer. A specific timeline will be provided at your consultation.
Which procedures are available in Northern Cyprus?

Is surgery or medical aesthetics right for me?
We will tell you clearly and honestly at consultation. The general principle is: situations requiring structural change (breast size, nasal shape, skin laxity) call for a surgical solution. Surface-level or functional corrections (expression lines, skin tone, volume loss) are most often managed with medical aesthetics. There are cases where both approaches work together — for example, dermal fillers following a facelift, or mesotherapy after liposuction. The aim is to direct you towards the right treatment, not to sell you the most expensive one.
What does aftercare and follow-up involve?
Every patient's records are held electronically and are accessible across all Nis Clinic branches. Post-operative follow-up appointments within the clinic are provided at no charge. For patients who have returned abroad, contact is maintained via WhatsApp and online video calls; photographic reviews are carried out where needed. Should an unexpected complication arise, Dr. Meyzin is directly involved. The legal framework in Northern Cyprus aligns with EU standards; our Cyprus Turkish Medical Association (CTMA) registration and insurance coverage are part of the clinic's commitment to transparency.
