An Academically Grounded Clinic in Cyprus

Nis Clinic is a health group offering plastic surgery, medical aesthetics and hair transplantation in North Cyprus. The idea behind the clinic grew out of a simple observation: on one of the calmest islands in the Mediterranean, every condition needed for aesthetic surgery at an international academic standard was already in place; what was missing was bringing those conditions together within a disciplined clinical structure.

Today we serve patients in Nicosia (Gönyeli, our main centre), Kyrenia and Famagusta. What sets us apart is the choice to be a clinic that tells you which procedure is genuinely right for which patient, rather than following the "every operation for every patient" sales logic of aesthetic surgery. This choice is visible at every stage, from consultation to surgery and follow-up.

Our Mission

Aesthetic surgery is a decision; a decision made without accurate information is not an aesthetic decision. We sum up the reason our clinic exists as briefly as this: to give patients the information they need to make their own decision, presented honestly, fully and clearly.

This clarity sometimes means directing a patient to another centre — declining to operate when someone is not a suitable candidate is the most correct decision, both medically and ethically. Although this transparency occasionally costs us a patient, this is how trust is built over the long term.

Three things become clear in every case: what can be done, what should be done, what should not be done. Our clinical practice is built around giving clear answers to these three questions.

Our Values

An academic foundation

Op. Dr. İbrahim Meyzin, who leads the team, completed his specialist training in plastic surgery at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine and has peer-reviewed international publications. Our clinical decisions are shaped by current literature and evidence-based practice.

Honest expectations

Every consultation is framed around "a realistic result suited to your anatomy" rather than "the best possible result". In aesthetic surgery, the single greatest determinant of patient satisfaction is a properly framed expectation.

Clinical safety

Operating-theatre standards, sterile protocols, anaesthesia safety and emergency-response infrastructure are kept in line with internationally accepted criteria. Patient safety is never compromised.

Ongoing follow-up

We run a follow-up programme that covers the first 12 months after surgery. A result is measured not only on discharge day, but by how it looks at 6 months and at 12 months. For medical tourism patients, remote follow-up is maintained to the same standard.

Milestones

  1. 2005

    Medical education completed

Dr. İbrahim Meyzin graduates from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. For his specialty training he chooses the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

  2. 2013

Plastic surgery specialty + return to North Cyprus

Specialist training in plastic surgery is completed at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. Full membership of the Cyprus Turkish Medical Association is registered (Registry No: 969). Aesthetic surgery practice begins in North Cyprus.

  3. 2015

    First branch: Nicosia

Our first clinic opens at Ulus Sokak, Gönyeli. The core service lines of plastic surgery and medical aesthetics are established at this centre.

  4. 2018

    International certification

The Allergan Medical Institute Essentials + Applied Anatomy Workshop (Singapore) certificate is obtained. The clinic adopts an approach to facial injection protocols that is synchronised with global practice.

  5. 2020

    Kyrenia branch

A second branch opens at Magic Residence on Bedrettin Demirel Avenue. Kyrenia's accessibility for tourists positions it as a reception centre for medical tourism patients.

  6. 2022

Mia FemTech — North Cyprus authorisation

An agreement is signed making the clinic the sole authorised provider of Mia FemTech, a minimally invasive breast augmentation technology, in North Cyprus. Dr. Meyzin completes the device and technique training.

  7. 2024

    Famagusta branch

A third branch opens on İsmet İnönü Avenue. Travel is minimised for patients on the eastern coast of North Cyprus, completing the three-branch structure.

  8. 2026

    New clinic web infrastructure

A new web infrastructure — four languages (TR/EN/RU/EL), academically referenced, built to E-E-A-T standards — goes live. The international patient flow and the consultation process begin to be coordinated digitally.

3 Cities — One Patient File

Whichever location a patient comes to, their file is kept in a single system. A patient who has a consultation in Nicosia is admitted for surgery at the Nicosia main centre, and can be seen for follow-up in Kyrenia or Famagusta; the file travels, the information is not fragmented. For patients coming from abroad, the surgical centre is **Nicosia**, while recovery follow-up is coordinated through the city the patient prefers.

Nicosia (Lefkoşa)

Ulus Sok. No:9 Gönyeli, Nicosia, North Cyprus

Main centre — surgical operations and comprehensive consultation

Kyrenia (Girne)

Bedrettin Demirel Cd., Magic Residence, Floor 1 No:7, Kyrenia, North Cyprus

Team Philosophy

Aesthetic surgery is not a one-person job. The result is shaped as much by the anaesthetist's assessment, the operating-theatre nurse's care and the post-op team's follow-up discipline as by the surgeon's planning. The Nis Clinic team was built with this perspective.

In our operations the surgeon stays at the table; there is no "serial operation" model run by an assistant team alone. Every patient file includes an anaesthesia pre-assessment, laboratory checks and a cardiology consultation (when needed) as part of the standard flow. A clinic line that is reachable for 24 hours after discharge is maintained.

Our nursing and coordinator team can communicate in Turkish, English, Russian and Greek. Patients coming from abroad are assigned a dedicated coordinator; the process is managed from a single point of contact, from the flight through to follow-up.

From Our Clinic

From treatment rooms to waiting areas, from the examination room to the laboratory, every space has been arranged with sterile standards and patient comfort in mind.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Nis Clinic and Nis Tıp Merkezi the same place?
Yes. They are two commercial identities operating under the shared Nis Health Group umbrella. "Nis Tıp Merkezi" is the local registered name, while "Nis Clinic" is the brand name we use for international patients. All procedures are carried out in the same clinic, with the same team. The former "Cyprus Aesthetic" web presence also sits under this umbrella.
How long has the clinic been operating?
Op. Dr. İbrahim Meyzin has practised plastic surgery in North Cyprus since 2013. Under the Nis Clinic name, the first clinic opened in Nicosia in 2015, with service points in Kyrenia and Famagusta opening in the following years. The surgeon's active practice spans 21 years, and the clinic 11 years.
Which procedures are performed at which branch?
Surgical operations (breast, nose, BBL, abdominoplasty and so on) are carried out at the Nicosia main centre. Medical aesthetics (botox, fillers, PRP, mesotherapy, peeling) and laser procedures are offered at all three branches. Hair transplantation is performed in Nicosia. Consultations can take place at any branch; the patient file runs through a single system.
How do you receive international patients?
For patients coming from abroad, airport transfer, accommodation, an interpreter (when needed) and the surgical process are coordinated within a single package. The flow of online consultation → medical plan → flight schedule → clinic process → post-discharge follow-up is standardised. Our coordinator team communicates in TR/EN/RU/EL. See our Medical Tourism page for details.
Which health institutions are you connected with?
Beyond membership of the Cyprus Turkish Medical Association, we work in coordination with the private and public hospitals we refer to when needed. In complex multidisciplinary cases, referral to university centres abroad does occur — when a situation falls outside the scope of aesthetic surgery, pointing to the right centre is more correct than trying to keep the patient at our own clinic.
What is your pricing policy?
Prices are finalised after the consultation, according to the plan for the case. We do not give a template "X procedure, Y price", because the same procedure is not the same plan for two different patients. For international patients, package prices (operation + accommodation + transfer + follow-up) are prepared. Payment terms (bank transfer, credit card, instalments) are discussed during the consultation.
Who do I reach if there is an emergency?
We keep a clinic line reachable for 24 hours after surgery (+90 548 899 08 08). For patients who have returned home, a WhatsApp follow-up line is open. If there is an emergency, we recommend first going to the emergency department of the city you are in and then informing us — in time-critical cases, the nearest intervention is the best intervention.
