Internally referred consultations are sought for higher-risk cases — setting clear boundaries in elective surgery is always the right decision over managing complications afterwards.

On the day of surgery, the anaesthetist speaks with the patient individually, the theatre nurse checks equipment and the sterile field, and the surgeon conducts a final plan review. The post-operative process is equally protocol-driven: telephone follow-up within the first 48 hours, a check-up appointment in the first week, suture removal, and a direct WhatsApp line throughout the monitoring period. For patients travelling from outside Nicosia or from abroad, digital follow-up — including photo sharing and remote assessment — is a standard part of care.

The same approach applies to medical aesthetics. A consultation is not simply an injection plan; it is treated as the long-term management of skin health.
